Chapter 3: No Need for A Pretty Warrior

I sped to the Palace. I was ready I was to rescue my love Tenchi! Suddenly I stopped it was true I was in love with Tenchi, no matter if we are cousins or not, but I had to keep it a secret! Anyway I was running with Azaka and Kamadike. Suddenly Azaka leapt in front of me another bad Juraian knight. “Kamadike protect the princess and go!” he screamed. Kamadike nodded and guarded me as we ran to the palace doors. Then Kamadike saw another bad Juraian knight and was forced to fight him. “Kamadike I’ll be all right!” I screamed. Kamadike looked at me “You have the courage of your grandmother Maureen! Now go and rescue the one you love!” he called. I nodded and ran to the palace doors. The time was now, I could die but I was to sacrifice myself to save my love, Tenchi! I pushed open the doors. “Marianna is that you?” Tenchi cried. “Tenchi!” I gasped. It was just like in my dream! I looked at the black robed man. “Well hello, I’ve been looking forward to meeting you! Princess Marianna please allow me to introduce myself, I’m Kagato’s evil brother Nagato!” he said. Tenchi and I both gasped. I’ve heard of Kagato he was real bad. I got real angry and drew out sword Marianna. “Well you also must be in the line if you can use the sword,” he said. “I don’t care about my line just Tenchi right now!” I cried. “ All you have to do is defeat me and you can do what ever you want, so defeat me you princess,” he sneered. Something inside made me run to him to kill him for Tenchi. But when I tried to strike him the electricity shot out back at me throwing me back down the set of stairs. I landed on my side and was motionless. “No Marianna!” I heard Tenchi cry. I was almost dead but I was still alive. I got up and Nagato laughed. “ You call yourself a princess? You can’t even control your own sword!” He said. That made me mad and I tried to strike him again but I was jolted back again. “Marianna speak to me please!” Tenchi cried. Suddenly I was up on the platform and Tenchi was where I was. I looked at him. Nagato laughed and walked to Tenchi, raising his sword. Tenchi was about to be killed for me. Then Something deep inside my soul snapped! “No! I will not let you kill Tenchi!” I cried then I held up my hand as a symbol appeared on my forehead. It was a purple heart with a arrow and the end of it (look for Marianna’s picture in the fan art section to see what it looked like). Then with out knowing why I held my hand out in front of me. “No it can’t be!” Nagato screamed. Tenchi now was awake. Some word popped in my head and I said them. “Pretty Warrior Cosmic Make-up!!!” I cried then black smoke began to come from no where and cover me. In side the smoke I was spinning and I was naked but purple ribbons were surrounding me. Then there was a flash of light and purple circular beams began to rise over me. Then my feet, hands, and my whole body. I continued spinning real fast then there was a big beam of light. I jumped out of the smoke. I was dressed in a white shirt like Pretty Sammy’s with a purple heart and ribbon in the middle. I was wearing purple heart earrings. I also had on a light purple skirt. My boots were also purple. My hair was pulled back in a purple band. My right hand was on my waist, and my other hand at my side. “Hold it right there you can not hurt Tenchi I will not allow it! You thought I was just another princess No! I am the defender of Jurai’s royal family and the ones I love, In the name of Jurai and love, I shall punish you I am the legendary Pretty Warrior!” I cried. Nagato and Tenchi stared at me. Nagato drew his sword and walked up, the stairs toward me. My sword was stronger now and I was ready to fight! This must have been the sensation I was craving! Then I remember my dream! This was it, it was a prophesy! Then I ran toward Nagato screaming and he me! I clashed sword with him and the battle began. I was almost thrown off the stairs but, I did a flip and saved myself. Then Nagato and I clashed swords at the same time. Then rainbow beams beamed out from the two swords. Then Nagato had realized this is exactly what happened to his brother Kagato. Then he had a vision of my grandmother Maureen in my place as Pretty Warrior. Then he fell as all his energy was drained. I sighed and turned to Tenchi.

“You did it Marianna I mean Pretty Warrior!” Tenchi said. He had risen from his position on the floor. “Tenchi!” I cried as I ran to him. I collapsed when I reached him and he caught me. He held me like he used to do when I first came. I began to cry. So Nagato, the man who had kidnapped Tenchi had been vanquished, Tenchi was safe and sound and as for me,

Authors notes: Well that does it for this chapter. Who would have thought it Marianna a Pretty Warrior? Any ways there is only one more chapter then I’ll be done with this story. Now that Marianna is the Pretty Warrior what will happen? Will she go home with Tenchi or will she stay on Jurai? Will Tenchi and Marianna be separated for ever? Will Marianna tell Tenchi her feelings? All the answers will be reveled in the next chapter. Coming up next to conclude the saga “No Need for a Broken Heart Filled with Love” It’s unquestionably filled with deep sorrow and love!
