Chapter 4: No Need for a Broken Heart Filled with Love

Well who would have thought it, I would not, I Marianna an ordinary girl, not only a princess but a legend, Pretty Warrior. I had saved Tenchi from Nagato. As soon as the Jurai royal family had found that out they brought me to Jurai. Who also would have thought that me finding my destiny, would lead to great sorrow. Not long after my arrival, I was asked to stay and become the princess that I really was. I didn’t say anything. I just went outside and looked at Jurai. It was so beautiful. Then I heard the shocking news, Tenchi was about to leave Jurai! In about three days. Azaka was the one that told me. I let my jaw drop! Tenchi leaving me, after all we have been through? No! I ran to my room and began to cry. “Princess,” I heard someone say. I saw Kamidake enter. “Maybe we can arrange for you to talk to Lord Tenchi?” he suggested. I looked at him and smiled in approval. So I was to talk with Tenchi, I did not know what to say! I heard a voice inside me say “Just say what you feel.” So I took that advice. Tenchi walked in the room. I had my head facing the floor. He walked toward me staring at me. “So you are leaving now Tenchi?” I asked. “Yes,” he replied. “You and I will be separated if you do not stay, I can not return, I…I.. am a princess now and a legendary Pretty Warrior,” I said. I began to cry, I ran to Tenchi and cried. “Tenchi you can’t leave me you can’t! Tenchi please!” I cried, by now almost hysterically. “Marianna, I have a life on earth and duty that I must fulfill,” he said. He tried not to cry. I saw a tear and wiped it away with my hand. “I know, Tenchi. I really want to thank you, I want to thank you for always being there for me,” I said. I suddenly had a terrible thought! “Tenchi when you leave will you not love me anymore?” I asked. Tenchi put his hand on my cheek. “Oh Mari-chan I’ll always love you and I always have,” he said. I looked into his eyes, “Are you sure you won’t forget me and still love even though we will be separated?” I asked. Tenchi smiled, then he did something I wanted him to do for the longest time. He leant forward and gently kissed my cheek. I closed my eyes. What was I doing

<go with him!> said my conscious

(my duty!) I said in my head.

<forget your duty you love him>

(oh! You are right but, oh leave me alone!)

Then Tenchi looked into my eyes. I smiled. Then I pulled out a Royal Teardrop. “I Tenchi promise by this Royal Teardrop, I will never forget my cousin Marianna and always love her. I promise it by this Royal Teardrop.” I said. Tenchi repeated and then he drew me close and hugged me. Taking the Royal Teardrop he looked at me. “Now you are to leave and you are to get good grades in school and tell Achika I love her and where I am and I’ll be fine. You are to not look back and oh Tenchi, be careful!” I said He nodded and started to walk away. “Tenchi!” I cried. He turned around. “I love you,” I cried. “I love you too Mari-chan,” he said. Then the ship departed. Tenchi looked out at the palace. Then I looked at the ship. We saw each other and I stared at him until the ship was out of sight. Then I ran to my room crying heavily. Then a couple, of days later Kamidake came to my room. “Princess are you hungry?” “No Kamidake I’m fine,” I said. Kamidake sat beside me on my bed. “You, know what a wise princess told me? Be true to your heart and your heart shall be true to you,” he said. Then he got up and left.

Then I ran to the main throne room. “Sir,” I said calmly, “Um I’d like to leave.” I said hoping for the worse. Then the man smile and said, “I know little princess,” he said. I smile with glee. Then I ran to tell Azaka and Kamidake. They smile and said they would love to come home with me. So the next day we said all of our good-byes. Then We were on our way to earth on the fastest ship in all of Jurai territory. Then we arrived in the country side right outside of Oakiyamah. Oh now comes the surprise you see when I became Pretty Warrior my power became the same as Ryoko’s. So when I saw Tenchi. I decide to play a trick. So I appeared in front of him. Then he stared at me then I disappear he thought it was just a image in his mind. He jumped back then he turned around. Then I reappeared on a rock. Tenchi blinked and turned around to face me. To let him know it was really me I said, “Hey,” I said. Tenchi stared at me. then jumping up I did a flip and landed with my arms around Tenchi and his arms around me. “See I am a Pretty Warrior and a powerful one and I’ve come to give you adventure,” I said with a smile. “Marianna I thought?” he began. “Now don’t worry, I won’t do anything wild this is what I am going to do, I’ll confront Ayeka and Ryoko and win your heart in the fairest of fights!” I said. “What?” Tenchi asked. “Well come on now you don’t think Ayeka and Ryoko will give you up that easily do you?” I asked. Then I showed Tenchi the orange rose. He became so happy. He leant down and gave me another kiss. Then we saw Ryo-Ohki bounce up followed by the rest of the family. They all hugged me till I was all hugged out. Then Ryoko and Ayeka looked at Tenchi. “Hey Tenchi, Ayeka and I saw you kissing Marianna that does not mean that our love will be altered, will it?” Ryoko asked. Then I laughed. Tenchi smiled and winked at me then he knelt down and gave me another long kiss on the cheek. I turned red as a cherry, Ayeka and Ryoko fainted, Tenchi closed his eyes, and everyone else laughed until they could not laugh anymore. Then Tenchi took me home, where I belong, Pretty Warrior or not. ^-^
