Part 4: Washu’s Cry For Help

I’ve been through so much. I hate it. A long time ago, my only child and husband were taken from me. I was cursed by Kagato. My daughter was taken from me by Kagato. Just when I thought I found happiness and a family, it’s gone. Mihoshi is the only one left now. And me, of course.

It all started when Tenchi told Ayeka he loved Ryoko. Ayeka couldn’t help but cry. She ran to Sasami. Sasami had grown to hold Ayeka while she wept very often. But not all was good. The day Tenchi and Ryoko became engaged was awful. That’s when I noticed something awful happening. I saw high energy being drawn forth in the Masaki house. I identified the holder to be Ayeka. I clicked into Ayeka. That’s when I found the problem. Ayeka was hurt. She had done it to herself. All the sorrow, the pain, everything was eating away at her brain cells. That’s why Ayeka was attacking Ryoko. Then, I saw Tenchi come in with his light hawk sword. That wasn’t good. He knocked her backwards. That put one more thing in to eat away at Ayeka’s heart and soul.

I knew why Ayeka left that night. It wasn’t to become queen. It was to get away from everyone in the Masaki household. Killing Funaho to become queen was something more to eat away at her brain cells. Ayeka’s life was slipping from her grasp. I could tell. Computer readings told me that it would be dangerous to leave Ayeka in this state. If it got bad enough, I would have to take matters into my own hands.

One night, while we were watching a soap, Sasami dropped an envelope and ran back upstairs. Tenchi found it, read it, and then headed upstairs very quickly with Ryoko and Mihoshi. I stayed downstairs. I couldn’t bear to see Sasami die or be dead already. I did not follow them. Sasami’s death was to much for me. That’s when I saw Yosho racing down the stairs. I couldn’t believe it. He was CRYING!!!! So I took him into my arms. Suddenly, he stopped.

“Feel better??” I asked in a soothing voice. No answer.

“Yosho?? Yosho?!?! YOSHO!?!?!?!?” I screamed. He had died of a heart attack. I couldn’t believe it. I had tried avoiding whitnessing a death. No use. Both Sasami and Yosho were dead. Tenchi came downstairs. I stopped him and explained.

“NO!!” he shouted and ran back upstairs. I sighed.

“Two members of the family are dead!!” I wept. Suddenly, I heard a thud and then Ryoko crying for Ryo-oh-ki.

“Make that three,” I said, crying harder. Then, Tenchi came running down the stairs to get the ringing phone. I watched in silence. Tenchi’s jaw dropped and he dropped the phone. He yelled to no one in perticular.

“Make that fou... Oh I give up!!” I said. I had to watch Ayeka. This event, er, events would hurt her greatly. As soon as she found out, I found her brain to be dying even faster. Ayeka was losing her life weither she realized it or not. I had to help, but I didn’t know how. When Tenchi and Ryoko were married, Ayeka’s brain was dying quickly while some other one was filling in. It was her brain trying to repair itself, but it was turning Ayeka psycho. Ayeka cursed and swore to kill both Tenchi and Ryoko. She was truly going crazy. But probably much to her disappointment, Tenchi died on his own. I think he slipped on one of the iced over steps of the Masaki shrine. He tumbled down and got launched off a slanted rock. That’s when he fell into the water. The ice cut his head badly. I’m not sure if he died of no oxygen or if he died from losing so much blood. He turned quite a bit of the lake red. There is a patch of red ice. But Ayeka did kill Ryoko. She stole Ryoko into sub space and stabbed her to death. I found Ryoko in the morning. It was too late to bring her back. But I wouldn’t curse at Ayeka. She wasn’t doing anything wrong. That’s when I decided to take this into my own hands. I began doing an experiment. I was creating a new brain to take the place of Ayeka’s psycho one. I filled it with memories. But, just as I was doing the hardest part, Mihoshi came in. She tripped over a cord. There was an explosion.

“Mihoshi?? MIHOSHI!?!?!” I yelled. Mihoshi wasn’t quite dead, but unconscious. I knelt down to help her up, but suddenly realized I was surrounded by fire. It moved in closer to us.

My entire lab. Gone. Ayeka’s only chance. Gone. All my experiments. Gone. The last of the Misaki family. Ashes.
