Crikit

by Lesell Charis

On the outskirts of Lemonwood, near the edge of Kagato's fortress, A lone girl ran through the forest. Desperation set on her face; she was panting heavily and stumbling through the undergrowth. Every few seconds she would sneak a worried look behind her shoulder. A lightning bolt whizzed by her ear and she yelped, glancing backwards as she did so. ...The robots were gaining! Soon they would be upon her! If they caught her, she would have to... have to... NO! It was too horrible to even think about! She felt a shrill scream escape her lips. Suddenly, she tripped over the exposed root of a tree and tumbled forwards.

"Come on, come on!" She screamed in panic as she tried desperately to free herself from the entangling root. It was too late... The red eyes of her inhumane pursuers bored right into her soul, and she whimpered slightly as they loomed towards her. One of the robots extended his arms and pointed at the girl. She closed her eyes, and braced herself when suddenly--

"Stop right there" A shrill, but firm voice cut through the forest

The girl's eyes flew open and tried to focus onto the origin of the voice. It was coming from above, she looked to the treetops only to see the faint silhouette of long boots, a skirt...

The girl's heart soared at the prospect of rescue... It was... It was--

The figure jumped down.

It was some guy dressed in a Sailor fuku!?!?

"Ack!" An ominously large sweat dropped appeared on the girl's head

The boy gestured elaborately at the very confused robots. "I am the lovely Sailor Suited Soldier Sailor Moon!" He chanted, striking a pose. His eyes began to sparkle brightly as he narrowed his eyes at the robots. "And I stand for luuuuurve! And justice!!" The guy extended his hand in a "V" sign and waved it in front of his face. "On behalf of the moon!" he sing-songed "I will punish you!!!!" The robots froze in sheer bewilderment. "Feh," the guy grinned "I always wanted to say that."

The girl scrambled from the floor and stood beside the guy. "You can take these guys... right?" She asked, worriedly. And the robots took a slow step towards them.

"Uhm...."

"RIGHT!?"

He smiled assuredly as he pulled out a wand from the fold in his skirt. He waved it upwards in a graceful arc shape, "MOOOOON, SCEPTER.........ELIMINATION!!" He chanted, loudly being sure to add the right hand movements as he did so.

Nothing happened

"Oh-oh!" He yelled shaking the wand.

"Oh-oh!? What do you mean 'oh-oh!' the girl screamed shaking him

"I m-m-m-ean the wand isn't w-w-working!" He tried to steady himself.

"Ergh! Out of all the people in Lemonwood, I had to get the cross-dressing lunatic!?" She smacked her forehead in disbelief.

He examined the wand carefully "This thing is brand new! I paid a fortune for this! I need to get my money-HEY!"

"Never mind that!" She yelled pulling the wand out of his hand. She threw it at the closer robot, where it shattered his head panel and caused the robot to stop. The second one still advanced. "Now, run!" She yelped pulling him along.

A blue ray cut through the forest, causing the second robot to explodesuddenly.

The girl and the cross-dressing guy tensed as the forest parted showing a very pleased Lesell Charis and her newly formed party. K'thardin grinned. "You see that?" he exclaimed "One hand!!"

"Feh, I can do something else with only one -"

"Daniel!!!!!" Literary Eagle interrupted, shooting him a warning glare.

"Hey..." Amuro spoke up... "Who's your friend?"

"I'm Crikit," she grinned "Pleased to meetcha"

"Hey, you're pretty handy with a wand..." Adidas noted

"Thanks"

"She could come in useful at the kingdom..." AleeN stated.

"Do you want to join our kingdom?" Literary Eagle inquired.

"Sure, where is it?"

"Daniel can take her back," Lesell said suddenly as she turned towards Daniel, then rolled her eyes. "Daniel... will you take that thing off!?"

He grinned evilly. "What? Right now?"

The party crashed to the floor.
