Possum

Everybody dove behind the furniture as the giant robot opened fire.

"We'd better think of something fast," Amuro yelled, "We're running out of furniture!"

"Too bad we don't have the couch from the Tenchi Fan Fic Chat Room," the Nut said, "It's very durable."

Mistress Maji spoke up. "I could cast a mass teleport spell to take us outside of Kagato's fortress."

"Is that safe, Mistress?" Bonehead asked.

"It's risky. A mass teleport spell is very fragile, and any foreign energy can alter the location drastically."

Amuro looked at his party as they huddled behind the last remaining sofa. As a knight of the AFC, it was his duty to bring them back in one piece. He turned to Mistress Maji.

"Couldn't be much worse than this," he said, "Do it."

It should be pointed out that the robot was not very smart. He was programmed to do only two things: destroy and be ecchi. So while the heroes were talking, the robot was trying to figure out where they were. He finally came to the conclusion that they must be behind the sofa because it was the only thing left in the room and because his infrared system detected nine life forms behind it. He grinned in sadistic joy as he opened fire and reduced the sofa to ash, but the grin faded when he realized that there was nothing behind it. He sighed disappointedly and continued to search the now empty room, wondering where they were hiding.

The party found themselves outside a school yard, dazed and dizzy from the teleport spell.

"This doesn't look like Lemonwood," Amuro said, "I wonder where we are."

"That's easy," Babbit replied, "I know exactly where we are. We're at my home, the Word of Shoujo."

"Good," the Nut said, "Maybe I can take you back to Sana-chan."

"Hmmm," Mistress Maji said, "Getting back to the Aeka Kingdom could be difficult."

"Ugh," Akane groaned, "I think my lunch stayed in Kagato's fortress."

"What were you doing in Kagato's fortress anyways?" Ranma asked.

"I came because I was worried about you!" Akane said angrily.

"I'm fine! I don't need a girl looking after me, especially not a tomboy like you!"

"I don't know why I even bother!" she yelled. Richard burst outlaughing.

"What's so funny?" Akane and Ranma yelled at him.

"Why can't you just say you love each other like normal people do?" he asked. He quickly got his answer in the form of Akane's mallet. Just then, the bell rang, and children started walking out of the school.

"Be careful," Amuro warned, "Any one of those girls could be a MagicalGirl."

"That's it!" Mistress Maji said, "Magical Girl Pretty Sammy!" Everybody looked at her. "Don't you see? Magical Girl Pretty Sammy is an overlap between the World of Shoujo and the Tenchi Muyo multiverse, which connects to the Aeka Kingdom."

"Ah," Amuro said, "So we can open a portal home?"

"Yes, but in order to do so, we need to find Magical Girl Pretty Sammy. However, finding her could be- ACK!" Mistress Maji screamed as a creature hung down in front of her."Hello!" the creature said cheerfully.

"Don't do that!" Mistress Maji yelled. They looked at the strange animal. It was covered in fur and hung down from a tree branch by a long pink tail.

"Are you guy from around here?" he asked.

"No," Amuro said, "We're just passing through."

"Really? Can you take me with you? I've been lost in the World of Shoujo for months!"

"All right, we'll see what we can do. I'm Amuro, and this is Ranma, Akane, the unconscious one is Richard, then there's Ken, Mistress Maji, Bonehead, the Total Anime Nut, and last, and certainly least, isBabbit."

"Hmmph!" Babbit said.

"My name is Possum."

"We are members of the Aeka Fan Club," Amuro said.

"Really? Can I join?"

"Of course you can. Otherwise, we wouldn't be writing a member bio foryou."

"What?" Possum asked.

"Never mind," Amuro told him, "Welcome to the group."

"Any ideas how we can find Pretty Sammy?" Ken asked.

"Well, a lot of Magical Girls seem to hang out at that club over there," Possum said.

"Okay, let's go."

"Won't work," Babbit said, "That club is for Magical Girls only. It's a place for them to relax with other Magical Girls."

"Well," Amuro pondered, "What if we turn Akane into a Magical Girl?"

"Wait a minute," Akane protested, "Why do I have to do it?"

"You're the only schoolgirl we have," Amuro said.

"Yeah," Ranma added, "And it wouldn't hurt you to actually act like a girl for once."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Akane yelled, "And besides, I can't transform into a Magical Girl!"

"Hmmm, let's see. What do you need for a Transformation Scene?" Amuroasked.

"You really just need a Cute Little Talking Animal, right?" Richard said. Everybody looked at Babbit.

"No can do," he told them, "Although I am cute-"

"Annoying!" the Nut coughed. Babbit ignored him.

"And generally in the World of Shoujo any Cute Little Talking Animal can perform a Transformation Scene, I am from a shoujo that is specifically not a Magical Girl series. So I'm an exception."

"So Possum could do it?" Ken asked.

"Yep," Babbit replied.

"Hey!" Possum yelled, "I don't know how to do a Magical Girl Transformation Scene!""And I never said I would do it!" Akane added.

"Please," Amuro said, "Just try. If we can't find Magical Girl Pretty Sammy, we may never get home."

"Fine," Akane and Possum said together, neither one of them very happy about it. Akane took out a crystal and threw it in the air. "Ouch!" she exclaimed as it hit her head. After several more tries, Akane and Possum successfully performed the Transformation Scene."

"Wow!" Amuro said, a trickle of blood running from his nose, "Akane's a lot more... developed than most Magical Girls, isn't she?" The other guys nodded, in similar conditions.

Mistress Maji glared at the men. "Congratulations," she said to Akane, "You are now Magical Girl Cute Annie!"

"She is not cute!" Ranma insisted. Richard, who had recently regained consciousness, burst out laughing again.

"You know you're not fooling anybody," he said, "You like-" he was cut off as Ranma sent him flying into the tree.

"Hey where'd the Nut go?" Bonehead asked. Just then, a tulip imbedded itself in the ground at their feet. Everybody turned to see a man wearing a tuxedo and top hat, along with a cape and mask.

"Let me guess," Ken said, "Tuxedo Nut?"

"Yep," Tuxedo Nut nodded.

"Good," Amuro said, "You can go with Cute Annie and Possum." He didn't like splitting the group up further, but some things couldn't be helped. He hoped the others were okay.

Possum climbed onto Cute Annie's head and they headed for the club. At the door to the club, they were stopped by a large bouncer.

"Name, please," he said. Cute Annie hesitated for a moment, but finally swallowed her pride and answered.

"Magical Girl Cute Annie," she sighed, "And this is Possum, my Cute Little Talking Animal, and Tuxedo Nut, a co-worker."

"Are you a Magical Girl?"

"Of course I am!" she yelled, "It's even in my name, Magical Girl CuteAnnie!"

"Besides," Tuxedo Nut put in, "If she wasn't a Magical Girl, why would she be wearing such a short skirt?" The bouncer nodded and let them pass. As Cute Annie was entering the club, she heard a thud to the side. She looked and saw Tuxedo Nut sitting on the ground and rubbinghis head.

"Tuxedo Nut!" Are you okay? What happened?" she asked as she helpedhim up.

"I ran into the door," he said, "I can't see a thing with this mask on." Cute Annie dropped him.

"Come on," she said as she headed through the door, "Let's get this overwith."
