Hello everyone!
I know that there was already an Ayeka Fan Club newsletter for this month, but I’m the new president and I thought I’d say hi. ^_^ I’ll try to keep it short this time, since I know that lots of you folks must be busy preparing for exams. In other words, no celebrity interview this time around... and no one for War-Ouki (our resident homicidal cabbit) to blow up.

First off, I guess I’ll introduce myself.
[War-Ouki looks up hopefully.]
I said “guess”, not “guest”, War-Ouki! We’re not having a celebrity guest this time, okay? ^_^;;; Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah: My name’s Literary Eagle, but you folks can just call me Lita if you want. Possum (the new webmaster) and I are going to do our best to pick up where Jaf and Jared, the AFC’s founders, left off. I’d like to thank Jaf and Jared for all that they’ve done for us, and wish them luck in whatever they choose to do next. Fortunately, even though Jaf has retired from his role as AFC president, he’s staying on as our resident loudmouth (*wink*), so I’m sure we’ll still be hearing from him. Alas, Jaf and Jared aren’t the only ones who have recently retired. Bob, the head of the Ryoko Forever Fan Club, has as well. And so, I’d like to give a really big THANK YOU to Jaf, Jared, and Bob for their hard work and wonderful contributions to the online Tenchi community. Many thanks, guys!
I’ve decided to carry on the tradition of including a fan fic in each AFC newsletter. For those of you who don’t know, AFC newsletters usually have a link to a fan fic that was written by an AFC member. (For those of you who are panicking right now, don’t worry, I won’t link to your fan fic without getting your permission first. ^_-)
Just for a little fun, try and guess which fan fic it is this time! Need a hint? It’s a multipart series that begins with an alternate ending to the first TV series: Ryoko has died during the struggle to liberate Jurai from Kagato, and now Ayeka must ask the Juraian council to bring her back to life. Need another hint? When Ayeka tries to convince the council, she says this: “We, as people of noble birth, noble heritage, noble blood, noble spirit, and most of all noble actions, must now, more than ever, do something truly noble for our savior: Ryoko.”
Okay, here’s the answer: It’s the “Tenchi Universe Infinity Series”, written by our own Jaf! (But he wrote it under the name Aubinimity.) Was Ayeka able to succeed in helping Ryoko?
